The Union Gap School District Board of Directors is seeking candidates to apply for School Board Director District 3 seat declared vacant as of the election in November. This seat would be for a 2-year term completed at the election in November 2027. Applicants for this position must be a US Citizen and a registered voter within the district 3 boundary and willing to swear oath of office for school directors (RCW 28A.343.360).
District 3 is located:
Starting at the intersection of BNSF Railroad and W Ahtanum Rd. East on W Ahtanum Rd to S 2nd St. North on S 2nd St to W Locust St. East on W Locust St to S 1st St. North on S 1st St to Main St. Southerly on Main St to E Columbia St. East on E Columbia St to Tacoma St. South on Tacoma St to E Pine St. East on E Pine St to the 2020 Census Precinct boundary for Yakima 2301. Counter-clockwise on said precinct to I-82. North on I-82 to the extension of E Ahtanum Rd and the 2020 Census city limits for Union Gap. East on extension of E Ahtanum Rd to the school district boundary. Clockwise on the school district boundary to the northern crossing of the BNSF Railroad. South by southeast on the BNSF Railroad to the point of the beginning.
